Furries At the Georgia Renaissance Fair!

Where: Atlanta

Ever wanted to see real medieval fights? A dragon breathe fire or a REAL HORSE, even better, with other furies? It’s your lucky day! Join us on April 19th for an absolutely magical day at the Georgia Renaissance Fair!

Every year, Georgia holds their Renaissance Fair from April 12th-June 1st. It’s filled with a wide variety of vendors, food options, games, rides, shows, and events!!! Expect a bit of almost everything at the Renaissance fair! Be aware, there is admission prices prices for entering the event. You can expect to pay $30 online or $32 dollars at the door, so be sure to get your ticket in advance to save a bit of money!

Fursuiting is 100% allowed at this event! However, please ensure you check the weather prior to the event, and it is essential to have a handler to help you navigate the crowded spaces at this event. Make sure to bring water and/or something to keep yourself cool, since this event is mainly outdoors. Of course, dressing up to match the theme is encouraged as well, but make sure to wear appropriate shoes for a long day of walking!

Minecraft Movie Dine and Watch

Where: Marietta

Like Minecraft? Want to meet other furs? Come join us at Marietta for a Dine and Watch!

Prior to our movie screening, we’ll be heading to the Marietta Diner for a nice dinner! The Marietta Diner is a famous restaurant that has a large variety of absolutely amazing food, along with an atmosphere that’s hard to beat. You can expect to find just about anything you could want on the menu! The average meal will run you approximately $10-20, and it’s definitely well-worth the price.

After enjoying a lovely dinner, our group will migrate over to the Studio Movie Grill. On top of comfy seating, this movie theater has tons of food, drinks, and snacks to be had! One ticket to the movie will cost $15.25, and you should be sure to bring some extra cash if you plan on buying a bucket of popcorn, snack, or a drink to enjoy during the movie.

Unfortunately, fursuiting will not be allowed at this event, during both the dinner and movie portions. However, feel free to wear any furry apparel or bring any furry merch that you’d like to show off!

Movie Night: 200% Wolf

Looking for a nice night in where you can kick your feet up? Well, get your popcorn ready because DragonPalm is going to be hosting a movie night on our Discord server!

The movie being shown this time will be 200% Wolf, which was just released last year. If you’ve not seen the movie before, this would be a great opportunity to watch it with some other lovely community members~

VRChat Meet: April Assembly

Furry Potluck at Red Mountain Park

Where: Northwestern Georgia

Hey, fuzzy friends! If you’re interested in good food, good vibes, and good fun, you should take a look at our upcoming potluck, hosted by one of our lovely community members.

This event will be an outdoor event, so be sure to dress appropriately for the forecasted weather. In addition, this is a proper potluck, so please plan to bring your own yummy dish to share with everyone, especially if you’re looking to sample others’ delectable dishes they’ve made for the event! We look forward to seeing what you guys can cook up~

At this event, fursuiting is 100% allowed! However, please take care consider the weather and outdoor nature of this event prior to deciding to bring your suit. Since it’s a rather open space, handlers are not required, but it’s never a bad idea to have a friend help you navigate any potential outdoor hazards!

Billiard’s Meet (18+)

Where: Marietta

Hey, pool sharks! Are you interested in some fun games of billiards at a venue with good food/drinks and even better company? If so, this is definitely the meet for you!

Per the rules of the venue, you need to be at least 18 years of age to attend this event, and you will need to be at least 21 years of age in order to utilize the bar services onsite. However, as long as you’re 18, you’ll still be able to order both food and nonalcoholic beverages! If you’re looking to enjoy a game of billiards, it will be $12!

In addition, we’ve received permission from our lovely hosts to engage in furry shenanigans! As such, fursuiting is allowed at this event, so feel free to bring your furry paraphernalia and fursuits. However, it will be a relatively tight space, so we highly recommend bringing a handler, if you choose to suit.

Marietta the Gathering

When: Saturday, March 1st, 10AM – 8PM
Where: Historic Marietta Square
Host: The City of Marietta

Brought to us by the City of Marietta, Marietta the Gathering is an amazing festival catered to all things nerdy and artistic. This would be a great place to bring out your cosplays and fursuits for a fun day out where tons of people will love to see them!

There are several big attractions at this festival, all of which will be a great time in their own way:

Guild Show (10AM – 8PM): This marketplace is very similar to a dealer’s den that you’d expect at cons, except with a lot of stuff from outside just the furry fandom! Be sure to stop by and take a look at all the super talented vendors and their stocks!
Tournament Alley (10AM – 7PM): Sponsored by MomoCon, this area of the festival is entirely based on having fun with tabletop games, board games, and video games. This is a great place to relax in the shade and enjoy some time with friends!
Main Stage Entertainment (5PM – 8PM): Starting off at 5PM, there’ll be an opening performance by the band Hyperspace, before the headlining act is put on by Raspberry Pie at 7PM!
Cosplay Contest (1PM): At this event, you’ll get a chance to show off your amazing cosplays and fursuits! If you’re interested in strutting your stuff on stage, this is definitely the event for you~
Additional Activities: Throughout the day, there will be a large variety of panels, improve shows, geek trivia games, and even axe throwing!

Even more exciting, this event is free-to-enter for all! If you’re looking for a fun way to spend your day next Saturday without having to break the bank, you should definitely make your way over to Marietta for this awesome festival.

Ravefurrest ATL

When: Saturday, March 1st – 2nd, 10PM – 4AM

Brought to Atlanta by Ravefurrest, they’ll be hosting a massive 18+ rave in a venue at Underground Atlanta! It’s going to be an amazing time for those of us who love a good rave, so be sure to drop by if that’s your type of entertainment~

As for parking, there is both on-site and nearby parking, which ranges from $5 – $20. From experience, I recommend trying to park as close to the event as you can, as you will feel much better walking back to your car in the late night/early morning. Once you get to the door, admission will be $25 at the door, or you can save some money and only pay $20 online, by purchasing them in advance through ADV!

Walk the Beltline!

Where: Atlanta

WALKIES??!?! That’s right! Shusky’s inviting you to walk with them through Piedmont Park/Beltline!

The loose schedule/itinerary is that we’ll meet up on the South Entrance of Piedmont Park at around 3PM, and we’ll start our walk at 4PM – either towards Ponce City Market or through the park itself.

We’re hoping for good weather, but it’ll most likely be COLD! Make sure to wear warm clothes suitable for walking in the inner city. Badges/tails can be allowed, but be mindful of em!

Parking is VERY limited! Carpooling and Public Transit (Uber/Lyft/MARTA) recommended!

Ding Tea Augusta Fur Meet

Coming from our friends in Augusta, we have a lovely meet at the local Ding Tea location. Ding Tea is an awesome place that has ramen, boba, board games, and even karaoke!

In addition, feel free to bring all your furry apparel and fursuits for this fun event! Fursuits have been confirmed by the venue to be allowed on premise

Furry Minigolf Meet

Fore! In order to have some extra fun this February, come join us for a furmeet at a modern Mini Golf course!

This location is very pro-furry allowing suiting and opening up the pub area for a place to socialize and draw art, so it’s sure to be a good time. In addition, the pub serves both beverages and some really good food, so be sure to bring some food money!

Feel free to stop by to meet some new furs, draw some art art, play some mini golf, and enjoy good vibes~

Little 5 Points Meet (Again!!!)

If you’re looking for a fun weekend activity this month, make sure to join us at Little 5 Points! Our community has had a number of meets in this area, and it’s always been a super fun time~

To begin with, we’ll be going through a variety of stores for some shopping! After we shop and chill, we will be going to Rusans for dinner. They sell sushi, and some really, really good ramen!

Even if you’re just planning on browsing, please be sure to bring at least $20 for dinner and $10 for parking. In addition, be sure to dress warm, as it will be COLD!

In addition, fursuiting is encouraged, as the people at Little 5 Points absolutely ADORE suiters!
